SmartCircle is an AI-powered agent designed to revolutionize personal and professional networking. It intelligently recommends people to connect with from a user's contact list and facilitates outreach based on user-defined goals. The agent aims to be highly personalized, adapting to individual preferences regarding outreach frequency, timing, and specific occasions.

Key Features and Use Cases:

Personalized Recommendations: Recommends contacts for various purposes, such as finding a hackathon team (e.g., engineers, PMs), building an expert network around a specific topic ("Dynamic board of experts" or "Tribe of mentors"), or seeking career advice and informational interviews. Personalized Outreach: Generates and sends personalized messages (e.g., WhatsApp or email) to recommended contacts, incorporating user asks (e.g. “I want to do a customer interview for my new product idea”) and relevant context for the connection (e.g. “She just started a new PM role”). The agent can also suggest fun visuals to accompany messages. Learning and Adaptation: The AI agent learns from user feedback, continuously improving its recommendations and actions. It also integrates user updates to the contact graph (e.g., "Mike just created his startup") to maintain up-to-date information. Continuous Integration: Connects to various social media platforms and contact storage services to create a comprehensive user graph. Intuitive UI: Features a validation UI for users to accept or provide feedback on recommendations, along with a graph UI displaying cool stats about their contacts.

Technical Aspects:

The project involves setting up an agent framework (Airia), updating databases with contact information (including geolocation, age, last time of interaction, profession and social media context with ClickHouse), and using ClickHouse to update the past conversation feedbacks (like how helpful, how enjoyable, etc) to dynamically adjust the weight of certain connections in a certain expert domain. We have entity recognition technology to and integrating with communication platforms like WhatsApp. Language adaptation via DeepL and visual generation using Freepik are also planned.
