Inspiration
College students often need to access different sources for attendance, class timetables, campus notices, hostel and mess information, fee reminders, and administrative requests. We wanted to make these everyday tasks easier by bringing essential student services together in one platform.
What it does
SmartCampus is a centralized student services web platform that helps students access important college information and services.
Key features include:
- Student dashboard
- Attendance tracking
- Class timetables
- Campus notices
- Complaint submission and status tracking
- Hostel and mess information
- Fee reminders
- ID card requests
- AI student assistant with supported voice features
Our goal is to make campus services easier to access through a single web application.
How we built it
We built SmartCampus using React and Vite for the frontend, Supabase for the configured backend and data services, GitHub for version control, and Vercel for deployment.
We developed the user interface to bring student services together in one place and deployed the application online so it can be accessed through a web browser.

Challenges we ran into
One of our main challenges was organizing multiple student services within a single interface while keeping the application easy to navigate. We also worked on connecting the frontend with the configured backend services and deploying the application for online access.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have built and deployed SmartCampus as a centralized student services platform. We brought several useful student-facing features together, created a live website, and collaborated as a team to develop the project.
What we learned
We gained practical experience in React development, working with Vite and Supabase, using GitHub for version control, deploying a web application with Vercel, and collaborating on a project from development to deployment.
What's next for SmartCampus
Our future plans include improving mobile accessibility, expanding student self-service features, enhancing notifications and request tracking, and improving the AI student assistant with additional supported integrations.
