Inspiration
We were inspired to build SmartBusFlow because we often missed our buses due to unpredictable timings, long waits, and lack of real-time updates. We wanted to create a simple solution that makes daily travel easier for everyone.
What it does
SmartBusFlow provides real-time bus tracking, arrival predictions, smart notifications, AI bus animations, user login/signup, and editable profiles. It helps commuters know exactly when their bus will arrive and reduces waiting time.
How we built it
We built SmartBusFlow using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend logic for authentication and live tracking features. We focused on making it user-friendly, responsive, and efficient for all types of commuters.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was that we didn’t fully know how to code when we started. Learning the technologies and integrating real-time features took time, but we kept improving step by step.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we built a fully functional smart transport website, added real-time prediction features, designed clean UI, and created a working prototype despite starting with limited coding knowledge.
What we learned
We learned how to work as a team, plan features, write cleaner code, design user-first interfaces, and use AI tools to speed up development.
What's next for SmartBusFlow
Next, we plan to scale the platform with live GPS integration, AI-powered route optimization, mobile app support, and eventually expand SmartBusFlow to other cities and countries.
