IoT has been gradually expanding across different applications which brought a huge attention to the implementation of this project for the mining field and industrial sectors, where environments can get a lot noisy and destructive. The system will provide Realtime monitoring of the hazardous events such as increase in temperature and humidity, release of colorless and odorless gasses like Methane and Carbon Monoxide, conscious and unconscious state of the worker, removal of helmet of the worker, Excessive increase in heartrate and body temperature of the worker, Saturation level of Oxygen in Blood and obstacle damage to the system. Apart from this the system gives alerts regarding water rise which is the primary cause of Flooding in mining industries. The System would be useful to handle hazards in very less time as it sends data over the cloud at realtime with 97% accuracy. The System can be used to monitor the health of the worker and make preventions before any accident.

Existing tasks like evacuation of coal mines due to sudden rush of water beneath can be avoided as the system would keep a track on the water levels. With the implementation of the system, there would be less involvement of men regarding safety measures. Coal Mines can generally get into gas leaks that are odorless and colorless which results in harmful breath. This can be prevented as the system relentlessly monitors the gas release and evacuation can be done before anyone gets affected by those harmful gases.
