SMART WINDOW

Inspiration

we got this idea based on the incident we faced,one day , habitually,left the college bag on the chair which is near window,unfortunately,it rained heavily on that night.next morning before it's time for college,found that bag got wet and all books in the bag got wet.the important documents got wet.then we got an idea of designing a window which automatically closes when it rains.

What it does

our smart window is designed in such a way that it automatically closes window when it rains or smoke is detected and temperature is detected.our smart window automatically operates itself while it detects rain,smoke and temperature

How we built it

smart window is done with aurdino and with respective sensors and code related to aurdino.

Challenges we ran into

we are unfamiliar with aurdino , we first studied each sensor separetely and worked out with each code seperately,then we integrated all the sensors and codes,majorily we faced problem with the stepper motor,which we struggled to turn it 90 degrees. finally,facing problems,learning from each problem ,finding solution to each problem and reworking on it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we faced several problems but every problem made us learn a new approach ,new method. we were in a never giveup attitude.

What we learned

never giveup over things. work on it ,every thing is possible. experienced the aurdino technology,worked with different sensors, with different conditions.

What's next for SMART WINDOW

smart window is used in all communities .it is applicable in laboratories ,industries,storage houses. future applications of smart window can be beyond our expectations. we can connect our smart window to mobile .smart window can be updated by detecting many more climate conditions. smart window plays a major role in indian moderisation. smart window is not just a luxury item but it plays a crucial role in different areas.
