THE SMART WATER METER PROJECT
Hi We are glad to present to you this project. We are a team of 4: 1. Stanley Gachara 2.Mr.Elton 3.Mercy. 4.Emmanuel Enzeyi This is a project that is in progress. In this project, we aim to automate the tracking process of supply and consumption of tapped water. Generally, the water meter detects and measures the supply of tapped water, it then sends the measurements to a data processing unit where the data is recorded and analyzed. The analyzed data is sent via radio frequency to the main gateway then to the internet. It can also receive data from the internet via the gateway which may be carrying a set of instructions. The data processing unit also sends instructions to the water meter. The main instructions will be to turn the supply of water either on/off . All these functionalities will be able to bring about a smart water metering system along with prepaid services. This will essentially help in tracking the supply and consumption of water in an simply automatic way.
