Inspiration
Improper waste disposal and overflowing garbage bins can create health and environmental problems. We were inspired to create a simple smart system that can help monitor waste levels and improve waste collection.
What We Learned
We learned how IoT, web technologies, and dashboards can be combined to solve real-world problems. We also improved our understanding of user-friendly interface design and project development.
How We Built It
We built the Smart Waste Management System using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and IoT sensors. The system displays waste-level information through a simple web dashboard.
Challenges
The biggest challenge was integrating the different features and making the system simple and easy to use. We solved this by testing each feature step by step and improving the design.
