Inspiration

This pandemic has changed all our lives, many are still not able to recover from this trauma. We wanted to do something to make things easier for people and hence we chose to participate in this covid-19 vaccine card hackathon.

What it does

Our app stores securely the details of the user and their vaccination card on the cloud for their easy access in the future.

How we built it

For the application, we have used Flutter(Google's UI toolkit) and Firebase for backend services. In additional to that we have developed a React web application as an admin portal for managing the vaccination centers' data.

Challenges we ran into

It took a lot of time for us to find the covid-19 API with real time data, but then we managed to integrate it in our app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have not only fulfilled the requirements of the hackathon but also added some extra features like mapping the available vaccination centers and showing real time data of the statistics of corona spread for increasing user experience.
