Inspiration
The chaos on the roads is now an everyday problem and is so inevitable that it needs immediate attention. Seeing ambulances stuck on roads is very common nowadays and thus everything just links up. We needed an inspiration and here it was lying in front of us.
What it does
An AI aided app called 'Green Signal' will be built which would be made mandatory by the central government to be linked in with all the vehicles just like we did with the BS6 engine not long ago.
The app will display live traffic with proper solutions to individual vehicles. We will be using AI to automatically assign traffic stops and slow down for different vehicles at different places which will replace the need of physical traffic lights and other traffic moderations whatsoever.
The driver would still have full access to the car. He/she can be provided with automatic / manual access anytime as the system will be in a constant debugging mode. The car will 'know' where every other car is in a given radius. This will prevent mishaps which have been encountered in the past like the MCAS system failure in the Boeing 747 MAX.
Certain services like ambulances and security forces will be assigned as VIVs that is very important vehicles and GPS would be used for tracking these vehicles live. The app would automatically regulate the traffic in such areas so that the commutation of such VIVs smoothens out. One foreseen potential of this system is that security forces can feed in the details about fleeing suspect(s) to the server which will aware the nearby vehicles regarding the threat.
