Inspiration

We wanted to create a tool that makes healthy eating simple, personalized, and fun. Many people struggle with tracking their diet or balancing meals, so we built Mealence to help users plan meals effortlessly while keeping on eye on their calorie intake.

What it does

Mealence helps users:

  1. Plan balanced meal.
  2. Track calories based on their goals.
  3. Explore meal options with nutritional insights.
  4. Get suggestions for healthy alternatives.

How we built it

We designed Mealence using HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the frontend, ensuring a responsive and interactive experience across device. The calorie calculator was implemented using structured data logic to compute total nutrition values from selected meals.

Challenges we ran into

Creating a accurate calorie calculation system. Designing a clean yet engaging user interface for both desktop and mobile. Managing meal data in a structured and scalable way.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building an interactive and user friendly meal planner. Making the website responsive across desktop and mobile views. Creating a colorful and engaging design that users enjoy. Successfully integrating meal data with calorie tracking.

What we learned

How to optimize website for different devices. How structured data helps in building scalable and nutrition systems. The importance of UI/UX in keeping users engaged. Team collaboration and problem solving in real world project building.

What's next for Mealence

Adding user accounts with personalized meal tracking. Introducing AI based smart meal recommendations. Expanding the meal database with more global cuisines. Enabling integration with fitness app for a complete health experience.

These is all about our project. We hope that you'll like it
