Inspiration:
Felt the need for better tab management
What it does:
Learns user activity and manages tabs.
How we built it:
Built a chrome extension using js, jquery and angular.js. Collaborated using bitbucket via source tree.
Challenges we ran into:
Taking care of variable names when implementing machine learning algorithms on an unstructured language such as Javascript.
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
Staying awake and doing machine learning with tabs in chrome.
What we learned
Working with chrome and implementing some special events in angular (such as drag and drop)
What's next for Smart tabs
- Organize tabs inside the windows
- predict how many tabs the user may want open in one window
