smart survilance system

project is basically an AI-powered Smart Surveillance / Anti-Theft system where you show the live CCTV feed on a dashboard, and behind the scenes your AI models detect important security events like person entry, intrusion, and weapon detection (gun/knife). You are using YOLOv8 for person + weapon detection, and DeepSORT for tracking people with IDs, so the system knows who is moving where in the camera view. On top of that, you’re also adding a Private Camera Mode, where a selected camera is marked as restricted and only authorized people (using face recognition with InsightFace) are allowed — if an unknown person enters, the system logs it as an alert. The main goal is to make the system smart enough to save only important event clips, generate logs, and show everything cleanly on the dashboard instead of continuously recording useless footage.
