Inspiration
In our experience, we have found out that a lot of students, including us have trouble keeping reminders as well as planning time each day for tasks. So we designed this simple app to tackle the problems.
What it does
Allow adding tasks for user and configuring desired time each day for study.
How we built it
We incorporate streamlit in our design to create a website based app that runs on the computer of anyone who has the link.
Challenges we ran into
When converting the app into a url, we ran into the problem that we can no longer use dotnet as our method to send email in the application.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This is the first application we have created as undergraduates.
What we learned
Valuable experiences with python and streamlit, as well as smtplib library.
What's next for Smart Study Planner
We will extend its functions and even makes it a online service for everybody and store data remotely.
