Inspiration

Students often invest their time in making notes, asking for practice questions and organizing their learning. We aim to develop a monolithic solution to optimize these tasks through one easy-to-use AI-based tool.

What it does

Smart Student AI is an AI-based learning assistant that enables students to maximize their learning process by summarizing provided materials, generating multiple-choice test questions, answering related queries and establishing personalized learning plans.

How we built it

We have engineered Smart Student AI as a single web-based application, made primarily for students. The application serves as a mediator between the user and functionalities powered by AI to process the materials and provide results. The products were created with the help of modern web development and artificial intelligence technologies.

Challenges we faced

The biggest challenges included the simplification of the user interface, the application programming interface and effective utilization of the artificial intelligence model, multiple data formats identification, and optimization of results for a better learning experience.

What we learned

We learned how to implement and utilize an AI model, design a user-friendly interface and develop a software product, including the establishment of a project’s architecture and the use of AI-assisted coding to accelerate the development process.

Future improvements

We intend to expand the functions of the application by introducing voice recognition and translation, a progress tracking system, advanced personalization, additional data formats and other innovative technologies.
