Inspiration

Smart street lighting is that first step for a smart connecting city, an embedded system that will be integrated into street lights .

What it does

-Economize consumed energy -Monitor street traffic and road accidents -Gathers important information that will help police, fire fighters, ambulance etc..

How we built it

Using a microcontroller connected via GSM/GPRS network, sensors and detectors . And our knowledge in electronic engineering

Challenges we ran into

The technology (components and electronics) price in Algeria may cost more.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our cities are in need of such technology to involve into the next technology generation and the connected world .
