Inspiration

For serendipity we apply our expertise in energy harvesting, hardware and sw in the Social & Political Cohesion in detail in Protection of isolated & risk groups and here: protection of those helping = remote medical controllers for personal health of those isolated, people with problem with limb that need medical control and Doctors.

What it does

The self-powered crutch that monitors and collects limb’ s movement data provided with geolocation (GPS) as Data Analysis tool in Remote for REHABILITATION. In the HEALTH field we offer a PRODUCT + SERVICE to the Person structured in monitoring, data collection, control, processing and Data Back-up. The data of the physical movements of the limbs such as SPEED, STRENGTH, TIMES allow the optimization and personalization of the rehabilitation / training programs for rehabilitation, the increase of physical efficiency and the maintenance of the condition with the possible reduction of recovery and with specific training to prevent or delay the onset of diseases. Assistance is available at all times remotely based on physical responses to support re-education with alarm for anomalous data and geolocation with emergency intervention in case of alarm.

How I built it

I am a technician, in my job with my colleagues, customer, suppliers and manufacturers we could build and test our devices.

Challenges I ran into

There are difficult to obtain a good technical level for the sample and obtain a sufficient reliability.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Obtain a beta version, in this moment the solution need other development!! I’ ll be proud if the solution could help and protect elder, medics and caregivers.

What I learned

To obtain a result we must work hardly and often it isn’ t sufficient.

What's next for Smart Stick

It is a new application with a possible application, I hope the utilization of the Smart Stick if it could help the community to limit covid 19.
