Inspiration

When we were learning about banks in our curriculum and we learned and we thought about deaf and mute people. We wondered how they would do banking and that’s when we thought about our app.

What it does

It helps deaf and mute people do banking in an easier way by translating sign language into English so they can communicate to the bank officers. It also translate English back into sign language so deaf people can understand what the other is saying.

How we built it

We used AI and API hosted in FFDC

Challenges we ran into

We had hard time agreeing on what to do and we weren’t that good when it came to teamwork until after a few days. We also had some challenges when it came to making the video but like last time we got the hang of it after a few days.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We first are really proud of the app idea that we thought of and created because we really believe it will help people. We are also really proud that we tackled the challenges that we hard time with.

What we learned

We learned how to cooperate, edit, make proper presentation, give a proper pitch and how to enjoy doing a hackathon.

What's next for Smart Silent Banking

We are planning on launching it in different languages so that everyone can understand it.
