Inspiration

We were inspired by a common problem: shopping often takes more time than necessary because people do not know which shops have the products they need. They may visit multiple shops, encounter out-of-stock items, compare prices manually, and waste time travelling between locations.

What it does

Smart Shopping Planner AI helps users plan their shopping efficiently by identifying shops that sell their required products, comparing prices and availability, and displaying shop locations on an interactive map. Its AI agent considers the user's daily schedule, travel time, shopping priorities, and personal preferences to recommend an efficient shopping route.

How we built it

We developed the application using JacHammer and the Jac/Jaseci ecosystem. The application is designed with three interfaces: User, Shop, and Developer. Users can manage shopping lists and schedules, shop owners can update product inventories and prices, and developers can access administrative features. The AI shopping agent connects shopping requirements with available product information to generate personalized shopping plans.

Challenges we faced

One of our main challenges was designing an AI agent that considers multiple factors simultaneously, including product availability, prices, shop locations, travel time, and user schedules. Another challenge was organizing information from different shops and ensuring that recommendations are practical and reliable. Integrating these features into a single application also required careful planning.

What we learned

Through this project, we learned how AI agents can solve everyday problems by combining data retrieval, decision-making, and route planning. We also gained experience with Jac, JacHammer, and developing an integrated web application. Our goal is to make shopping more convenient by helping people save time, reduce unnecessary travel, and make informed purchasing decisions.## Inspiration
