Inspiration
The idea of this project comes when on of our teammate is looking for a smartphone and he had to regularly check the price.
What it does
This project helps people to track the price of their favorite product.It sends mail to the people when the price of their favorite product decreases.
How we built it
We had build it using python and we had used python libraries bs4 and smtplib.
Challenges we ran into
We are new to web scrapping so it is once of the challenging task to scarp the price of product.Also use of smtplib library is also one of the challenging task.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We had completed the project before the deadline.
What we learned
We had learned web scrapping using python also use of smtplib library.
What's next for Smart Shopper
Adding more websites other than amazon.
