Inspiration
The Salice business, located in Mar del Plata, Argentina, was in need of a system that would recommend new products to sell to its clients. When I went and saw the current business workflow and systems, I found it lacked from many things, so I had a talk with the boss and we concluded to make a webpage that would connect every current system, while also making the business smarter by using algorithms, and also make it easy to use. The real version updates everyday with an API, but this one doesn't for Salice's privacy.
What it does
It connects every current Salice system, while also adding algorithms that recommend new courses of action. It prioritizes functionality, while also being aesthetic and easy to use.
How we built it
It was built from the ground up with GPT 5.6 Sol. While the AI made the code, I planned how the algorithms needed to work, and which were the priorities and why.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenges was the use of the API, autoupdates, and the lots of data that the program has to process. Since the version delivered isn't the real product but a demo, some of this challenges don't bother with the use and preparation of the program for the Hackathon.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The main accomplishment is that I was able to make a system that will really help the business and make it smarter, with the objective of optimizing its processes and improving its current flaws.
What we learned
I learned a lot about the use of AI (I had use Codex in the past, but never to this extent), and of business and economics.
What's next for SMART Salice
There is already a plan that includes approximately 10 new versions, each improving current systems and adding new ones, with the objective of having a working webpage of SMART Salice by the beginning of August.
