Inspiration
B2B sales is long, and involved process. Our inspiration was to shorten the selling process by using mobile and enable sales teams to help customers make faster, smarter decisions.
What it does
Pivot It helps create sales playbook and provide the sales professional an ability to execute using a sales process cadence.
How we built it
We built using Swift and iOS. We also leverages SMS feature available from RingCentral to share information using SMS with customers.
Challenges we ran into
iOS SDK is unstable, so we had to clean up the code. We were unable to just simply follow instructions with Xcode 9 and Swift 3.2.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We got it working. :) We are able to send SMS messages and execute sales plays methodically.
What we learned
A lot of plumbing is needed to execute RingCentral across the entire mobile App.
What's next for Smart Sales Playbooks
Further integration and make it ready for production to help RingCentral customers and partners use the mobile app.
