The inspiration behind our Smart Parking Management System came from observing how much time and fuel drivers waste searching for parking in crowded urban areas. In many cities, congestion and pollution are worsened simply because people circle around looking for spots. We wanted to create a smart, efficient, and sustainable solution that would make parking stress-free and contribute to smarter city mobility.
The Smart Parking Management System uses technology to monitor, manage, and optimize parking spaces in real time.
How we built Planning & Research: We began by studying existing parking systems and identifying pain points in current city parking management.
Design Phase: We designed the system architecture — including sensors for detecting car presence, a microcontroller for processing data, and a mobile/web interface for users.
