[Smart Mobility] Drive Safely with BlackSpot

Inspiration

Traffic safety is a major part of smart transportation for now and also for the future era of autonomus vehicles. We want to do something about it by building a working app (not just some sketch!) to improve drivers' safety as well as pedestrians.

What it does

BlackSpot is a simple iOS app that show you how closed you are to marked Hong Kong traffic black spots and some more.

Features

• Real-time location-tracking map
• All traffic black spots in Hong Kong listed on the map and show the distance of the closest black spots around you
• Read trafic notices from RSS feed from Transport Department (hard code atm)
• Risk level indicator of all traffic black spots based on data analytics
