Inspiration it all came when i ran across the problem in where there are lot of books missing even i have some library books 🤭what is that mistake this is the opportunity i want to grab the problem here is that the book is entered and the info is there but there is no notification or a bell that says to the librarian that this books needs to return that's why I want to implement sensors in book shelf so that whenever some guys take the book they the info is sent to the librarian and the app asks you for how many days you require this book you enter the number and then the number is saved after that date passed then the notification is sent to the librarian regarding that book that it needs to be returned and the librarian guy sends you message or automated message to you saying to return the book or you will be penalised
What it does browse all kind of books available in the library you can even order the book online in that app and then take it without talking to anybody.
How we built it i used python for that and iot.js framework and used azure iot cloud platform hardware google tpu or maybe even arduino(but takes time) fusion sensor or rf433 sensor
Challenges we ran into it was so difficult to construct the programming language based on the motion or book detection by using python one time it was difficult to even construct a proper api
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Not yet built the app
What we learned how we can mold a programming language so that the sensor would detect or work in that same way
And yeah even working with azure cloud was also an adventure
What's next for Smart library management app i want to include a doc scanner app in where you could actually scan the book and get it on your app as a pdf .it takes time
Built With
- azure-iot-suite
- iot.js
- python
