Inspiration
I was inspired to create this project due to the critical need for accurate and safe intravenous treatments. I realized that technology could play a significant role in improving the current systems and ensuring patient safety.Through this project, I learned about various aspects of medical technology, including sensor integration, Arduino interfacing, and the importance of self-diagnostic features in medical devices. I also gained a deeper understanding of the parameters involved in intravenous treatments, such as serum levels and drop counting.
I developed a system using Arduino and various sensors to monitor intravenous infusion rates. The system keeps track of parameters like serum levels, drop passage in the drip chamber, and drop counting. I also incorporated self-diagnostic features to detect malfunctions, further enhancing the safety of the treatment.
One of the main challenges I faced was ensuring the accuracy of the sensor readings, as any error could potentially impact the treatment. I overcame this by rigorously testing the system under different conditions and making necessary calibrations.
I m trying to developp it with some more innovative option but it takes too much time but its not impossible i can do it !
