Inspiration

Money cannot buy happiness but it surely does the source of happiness . A right investment is all we need to increase our wealth and this comes by proper market research and analysis of more than 2000+ companies and different types of investments. To make it easier and precise we have worked on a solution to it.

What it does

It predicts if the stock of a company is a good long term high investment or not. Or if its the time to sell or buy the share.

How we built it

Initially we did the sentiment analysis on the NEWS data to understand the current progress of the company using NLTK i.e webscrapping. And built a web application for the user interphase ,using the current trend of the company and its progress a decision is predicated to guide the users in their investment plans

Challenges we ran into

The initial challenge was getting all the text to a variable and displaying it in the web application.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Instead of going through headline for every stock that a user is interested in , we can perform Sentiment analysis by (assigning a sentiment score) for every headline and averaging it over a period of time. based on that we are generating the investment predications.
