Inspiration

Many students and job seekers struggle to create resumes that match job requirements. Manually checking resumes takes time and makes it difficult to identify missing skills. This inspired us to develop a Smart Intelligent Resume Analyzer using AI.

What It Does

Our project analyzes uploaded resumes and compares them with job descriptions. It calculates a matching score, identifies missing skills, and generates an analysis report. It also helps users understand how well their resumes match a particular job role.

How We Built It

We developed the application using Python and Streamlit. We used resume reading and keyword extraction techniques to extract important information from resumes. The system compares resume skills with job description requirements, calculates compatibility scores, and displays the results through a simple and interactive dashboard.

Challenges We Faced

We faced challenges in extracting information from different resume formats, identifying relevant keywords, comparing resumes with job descriptions, and calculating accurate matching scores. We improved the system through testing and debugging.

What We Learned

Through this project, we learned about Python, AI-based resume analysis, keyword extraction, text processing, resume matching, and Streamlit application development. We also gained practical experience in building a real-world AI application.
