🚀 Inspiration We were inspired by the inefficiencies in traditional HR operations — especially in startups and mid-sized companies where HR teams are overwhelmed with repetitive requests. Tasks like leave tracking, onboarding, and answering the same policy questions over and over drain valuable time. We asked: "What if a smart, AI-driven agent could handle all that — instantly?" And thus, Smart HR Agent Workflow was born.

🛠️ How We Built It We built the entire project using Bolt.new — a no-code/low-code platform for rapidly creating full-stack applications — along with Google Cloud tools. Here's a breakdown of the tech stack and components we used:

Frontend UI: Built with Bolt components and logic

Chatbot Workflow: Simulated Dialogflow/NLP for leave requests, onboarding, and policy FAQs

Database: Firestore and Google Sheets for storing leave logs and user data

Email Automation: Gmail API integration for manager approvals

Deployment: Hosted on Netlify, connected to a custom domain

Voice AI: Voiceover generated with ElevenLabs

Monetization: Simulated subscription flow with RevenueCat

🧩 Challenges We Faced Staying within the 3-minute demo limit while showing full functionality

Simulating real-time approval workflows without a backend API

Making a friendly AI chatbot UX without using external AI APIs due to hackathon limitations

Deploying custom domain and badge on time while meeting all bonus prize requirements

Keeping the UI intuitive and mobile-friendly across all views
