Inspiration

I was introduced to the world of BCI after I started searching for a solution for my disabled father and hence found BCI. Since then my goal is to try to provide solutions for people with disabilities.

What it does

The smarter home controller controls the smart devices using thought command (EEG), face expression (EMG) and voice commands.

How we built it

I have used python to build the backend and front end UI to select appropriate smart devices to control.

Challenges we ran into

To understand to recognise mental commands and face expression. The biggest challenge was to select smart devices which are very smart and affordable at the same time.

What we learned

I learned how we can pickup the intent of the patient and execute the action accordingly.

What's next for Smart home control using thought command and face expression

I want to make this portable, so that the whole system can run only using one single mobile app.
