Inspiration
My Fiancé and dog both suffer from severe allergies
What it does
This leverages raspberry pis and other smart home IOT devices to gather data and detect air quality throughout the house to make determinations on opportune times to pull in fresh air while avoiding carbon dioxide build up.
How we built it
2 Raspberry PI's with one running Home Assistant and the other providing testing, a blink external camera system, api's from weather sites, a CSS811 air quality sensor, an MQ-2 Gas sensor, wise smart plug and a Brown fresh air intake system

I successfully soldered a RPI zero GPIO pin set.
What we learned
HVAC systems can experience mechanical wear by restricting airflow due to a clogged filter.
What's next for Smart Home Air Intake
Migrating to a rpi zero and creating a low profile case.
