Inspiration- Instead of just solving problems, this project acts like a problem-solving operating system that guides students through the exact way an expert would think—whether the problem is from math, physics, or chemistry. Logical learning with better conceptual understanding is crucial for every student. The need of this conceptual understanding for every student inspired me to make this project.
What it does- It acts a smart student assistant which shows step by step solution of a problem given by user. It uses 6 steps to make this possible :
- Problem Understanding: Simple explanation of what is being asked.
- Given Information: Extraction of key data points.
- Required Outcome: Clearly defining what needs to be found.
- Step-by-Step Solution: Provides logical reasoning and conceptual explanation of the solution.
- Common Mistakes: Improves performance of students by mentioning the common silly mistakes usually done by students before-hand only.
- Key points and final answer : It provides key points to be remembered and then provides the final answer.
How we built it- I build it using Gemini Api key and Visual code editor .
Challenges we ran into- The understanding of the processes of hackathon .
Accomplishments that we're proud of- Final completion and creation of an outstanding project which helps students to understand conceptually and solve a problem efficiently . It also mentions the common mistakes which students generally make which helps user to avoid those mistakes.
What we learned- Creation of project, using visual code editor, creation of a prototype and much more.
What's next for Smart GeminiSolver- It is going to advance with time by adding more UI ,coding and techniques to solve a problem efficiently.
