Fish scraps rotting at fish landing sites while animal feeds were unaffordable due scarcity of plant based proteins

What it does

A cooler box for holding fish waste at beach landing sites as it awaits collection for up cycling as chicken feeds

How we built it

Embedding IoT onto the cooler boxes to optimise collection time of waste

Challenges we ran into

Developing of dynamic maps showing location & status of cooler boxes was unresolved

What's next for Smart fish waste coolers

Resolving the mapping challenge to have a realtime dashboard on status of the cooler boxes and allowing fisherfolk to also map fish scrapes in realtime.
