Inspiration
Went to my village, saw that the farmers were using traditional methods and did not have proper knowledge about rainfall, so I decided that I should make something which can help them in predicting rainfall new techniques and knowledge about which fertiliser to use and how much to use and knowledge about crop pattern
What it does
It should provide us with the current location, so that we can know about the weather information, which can help us with better farming.
How we built it
We can use Bolt AI to build the application. We also use some api keys like Weather API, Google Maps API for getting better results.
Challenges we ran into
Using the api keys and some other stuff, we face some minor problems, but we can fix them all and make it better for our users.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We take pride in building something for those who provide us with the very basic needs of your life, that is, food, and in a way, we are connecting them with modern technology and helping their crop grow better and earn them more
What we learned
We learn many new things while building this application, like using the Bolt AI, some new technologies, new parts of languages, etc.
What's next for SMART FARMING
Farming will be facing challenges due to global warming, climate change, and reduced fertility and land due to overpopulation. In this situation, smart farming is the only solution. Modern farming techniques like crop rotation and terrace farming will become a necessity, and more and more farmers will be engaged in Smart farming
