We wanted to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers, making fresh produce more accessible while supporting local agriculture.
What it does
Smart Farmer’s Market allows farmers to sell their fresh produce directly to consumers. Shoppers can browse, buy, and support local farmers conveniently online.
How we built it
We built it using Vite for fast frontend development, React for interactive interfaces, and MongoDB for managing data.
Challenges we ran into
We faced challenges during the hosting phase as well as while trying to integrate stripe for payment options.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We’re proud of creating a fully functional, user-friendly marketplace where farmers can independently manage their products and sales.
What we learned
We learned how to improve user interface design, enhance website performance, and better handle data connections between frontend and backend.
