Our current meter, post paid and pre paid are a setback to the trend in technology with everything moving to smart It provides an automatic consumption reading and bill calculation as well as possibility of remote controlling loads I built it using an IoT interface and Arduino Mega 256 I was not able to incorporate a GPS tracker for the meter Accomplishments that I'm proud of is that it was functional What I learned is more on the MQQT What's next for Smart Energy Meter is working on the recommendations
