About the Project
Our project was inspired by a simple but frustrating reality: buying a car should feel exciting, but for many people, it is actually confusing, stressful, and time-consuming. In Vietnam, buying a car is a high-value purchase, especially for first-time buyers, customers often have to spend weeks or even months searching across different websites, social media pages, dealership channels, and advice from salespeople just to understand which car fits their needs and budget. Instead of getting a clear decision path, they are faced with scattered information, inconsistent pricing, and too many choices without enough trustworthy guidance.
That problem became the foundation of Vroom. We wanted to build a smarter dealership experience that helps customers move from uncertainty to clarity. Rather than treating car buying as only a sales process, we approached it as a decision-making journey. Our goal was to create a digital experience that helps users explore options more confidently, understand pricing more clearly, and feel more prepared before stepping into a real dealership.
Vroom's ultimate goal is to help the Vietnamese car buyers move from research to test drive in just 7 days, through guided decisions, trusted information, and a seamless experience.
One thing we learn is that in a high-ticket purchase journey, even small uncertainties around added fees, optional accessories, or inconsistent numbers can create hesitation. That insight pushed us to prioritize clarity, clean user experience, and realistic pricing visibility throughout the demo.
For us and for Tasco
This project is on the Tasco track. We, the people who work on this solution face the same struggles in the pre-purchase phase, thus Vroom was built to solve our pain first and foremost. For Tasoco, who is distributing multiple brands with hundreds of dealership, we believe this solution can help to move the business toward data-driven decision making by fostering an earlier, direct relationship with customer, and overall improving the customer experience with the brand.
