The project uses technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), sensors, and real-time data analysis to monitor crowd movement and density.
The main purpose of this system is to prevent overcrowding, reduce accidents, and improve public safety in places like railway stations, malls, stadiums, festivals, temples, and smart cities. Cameras and sensors continuously collect data about the number of people in a particular area. The AI system analyzes this information and detects unusual crowd behavior or congestion. When the crowd exceeds a safe limit, the system automatically sends alerts to authorities and provides guidance to people through mobile notifications or digital displays. This helps in controlling traffic flow and avoiding panic during emergencies.
