Inspiration

My father is a farmer, and that is the reason.

What it does

Smart Crop Doctor takes complex soil data (Nitrogen, Rainfall, pH) and uses a Python algorithm to recommend the perfect crop for a farmer to grow. It helps prevent crop failure and increases agricultural efficiency.

How we built it

I used Hex to load a Kaggle agricultural dataset. I wrote Python code to analyze the soil parameters and built an interactive frontend using Hex's App Builder. The app uses Pandas for data processing and Plotly for visualizing rainfall requirements.

Challenges we ran into

Gather all previous data and modify it to provide the correct output.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

What we learned

I learned how to turn a static Python notebook into a fully interactive web application using Hex.

Title: Helping Farmers with Data

Body: Agriculture shouldn't be a guessing game. My goal with Smart Crop Doctor MSD was to give farmers a simple tool to make data-driven decisions.

Today, I reached a major milestone: The app is fully functional. A user can simply enter their soil details, and my algorithm acts as a "Doctor," prescribing the best crop to maximize yield and prevent loss.
