My journey started during the COVID-19 pandemic. I wanted to create an automatic sanitizer to help my school in Tunisia. Using sensors, an LCD screen, RFID cards, and a motor, I built a fully automated sanitizing system that provided contactless hand disinfection.

This school project focused my interest in technology, automation, and IoT. I started participating in hackathons, summer camps, and other tech competitions, which pushed me to explore more advanced projects.

The Smart Containers project is a continuation of that journey. It applies IoT technology to optimize inventory management and reduce waste. By integrating real-time sensors, automated alerts, and smart monitoring, this system ensures efficient storage and tracking.

Throughout this project, I learned how to work with hardware, software integration, and data processing. The biggest challenges were ensuring sensor accuracy, optimizing power consumption, and refining the user interface. This project is a step toward creating smart solutions that improve efficiency and sustainability in storage management.
