Inspiration
In this pandemic, it is important for the citizens to easily locate nearest hospitals to check for the available number of beds, speciality of hospitals, etc. So to help built a platform that provides these services, This idea has been taken up to implement.
What it does
- Helps to visualize the nearest Hospitals on the map where on hovering short and important notes like number of Covid beds, speciality , contact details are available.
- Provides the user a SOS signal where the calls are transferred to the nearest police station and the hospital authorities. The idea for this being to provide support for Road Accident Scenarios.
How I built it
I built it using HTML,CSS,JS,BOOTSTAP AND FIREBASE as database. Being a beginner this is the only technology stack that I know about.
Challenges I ran into
The main challenges that I ran into are that of database retrieval and data sending in the correct format.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am proud that I have been able to complete this project.
What I learned
I have learnt many useful techniques and tools/languages while developing this website.
What's next for Smart City - Healthcare and Emergency Services
This can be extended by combining with AI and face tracking to help track individuals and keep a record of their activities.
