Inspiration

We want to facilitate the lives of people with disabilities.

What it doe

The software uses a camera that will detect objects and notify the user what object is present in front of them.

How we built it

We used android studio and implement google vision API, which will be connected with firebase where the images will be stored.

Challenges we ran into

One of the challenges were dividing the work among the the team members. Another challenge we encountered was being able to implement the google vision API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got to deliver a finalized prototype.

What we learned

We learn how to implement an API we were not familiar with.

What's next for Smart Cane

We have features that we want to implement in the near future.
