Smart Campus Service Hub
Inspiration
Many educational institutions still rely on paperwork, physical notice boards, and manual administrative processes, resulting in delays, poor communication, and inefficient service management. Smart Campus Service Hub addresses these challenges by providing a centralized, secure, and role-based digital platform for students and administrators.
What it does
Smart Campus Service Hub is a role-based web application that digitizes campus operations.
Students can:
- Submit service requests
- Report infrastructure issues
- Access a centralized notice board
- Browse shared academic resources
- Report and claim lost & found items
- Track request status in real time
Administrators can:
- Manage students
- Review and resolve complaints
- Publish notices
- Handle lost & found claims
- View analytics dashboards
- Manage campus resources
How we built it
The project was developed using modern full-stack technologies.
Frontend:
- Next.js (App Router)

The application uses secure JWT-based authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), Prisma ORM for database management, and responsive dashboards for both students and administrators.
Challenges we ran into

- Building responsive dashboards for different user roles
