💡 Inspiration

Educational institutions still rely heavily on manual record-keeping, disconnected systems, and time-consuming meeting documentation. Mentor-mentee discussions, academic tracking, fee monitoring, and student behavior records are often scattered across multiple platforms or maintained offline.

We were inspired to create SmartCampus to unify all these processes into one intelligent digital platform that simplifies communication, improves transparency, and enhances institutional efficiency.

SmartCampus is an all-in-one campus management platform that:

📝 Automatically summarizes meeting conversations

📊 Tracks student academic performance

💰 Monitors fee status and payment records

📋 Maintains behavioral and attendance data

👨‍🏫 Provides a structured mentor-mentee management system

It centralizes academic, administrative, and communication processes into a single smart ecosystem.

Frontend: React / React Native (Cross-platform support for Web & Mobile)

Backend: Django (REST APIs for structured data management)

Database: PostgreSQL / SQLite (for student and meeting data)

Voice-to-Text: Integrated speech recognition APIs

Summarization: NLP-based text summarization tools

Architecture: Modular, scalable, component-based structure

We designed the system to ensure code reusability across platforms and maintain consistent UI/UX.
