Inspiration

The belief that Artificial Intelligence can revolutionize the infrastructure of Air Logistics. We identified a specific pain point: during booking, shippers often struggle to categorize their goods correctly. This leads to wasted time for customer service who must review potential dangerous goods and guide shippers through the required documentation.

What it does

Smart Booking tackles this challenge by streamlining the booking process for shippers. Users simply upload their goods documents, and our system, powered by the large language model GPT-4, analyzes accompanying good pictures. This intelligent system automatically detects suspicious dangerous goods and suggests the appropriate declaration criteria to the shipper. This proactive approach saves time and ensures accurate cargo classification.

How we built it

We built Smart Booking around the powerful GPT-4 language model. This AI core analyzes good documents and uses image recognition to examine accompanying pictures. By leveraging this technology, we were able to create a system that can intelligently assess potential dangers and provide real-time guidance to shippers.

Challenges we ran into

A major challenge involved training the GPT-4 model to accurately identify a wide range of dangerous goods from both documents and images. Additionally, we had to develop a user-friendly interface that seamlessly integrated document upload and image analysis.

What we learned

Throughout this project, we gained valuable experience in utilizing GPT-4's capabilities for image and text analysis within a real-world application. We also honed our skills in building user-centric interfaces for the logistics industry.
