Inspiration:

While being in lockdown we saw drastic changes in AQI of states which were unseen for like decades, would it not be an idea to think about how we can maintain those level?

Idea:

Use of IoT and ML to analyse data to get the insight of most harmful technologies currently active in our economies and replacing them with clean technologies. Everything which is going on here is real-time which everyone can see on the website.

How to do:

Placing detector tubes and pumps for measuring AQI in different parts of the city for eg. near Factories, Schools, Shops, malls etc. and storing the data. Now analyse that data and see the trend for a particular already fixed time-period and find the one which has the highest contribution in increasing the AQI and replacing them with clean new technology.

Challenges:

This requires collaboration govt. And concerned authorities which in itself is challenging. Although a collaborative effort of both can bring a positive change.

What I learnt:

This was an excellent experience for me as it required me to study and get insights in several fields like Environmental studies and how to do it which was a part of IoT and creating a website to portray the idea.

As things are interacting with Application in this project which is considered in IoT and to get insights from the data of AQI we need machine learning algorithms to see which area has the highest impact on overall AQI, and This whole stats are shown in website.
