Inspiration
As Covid, people tends to have more and more virtual meeting. We want to create a meeting/video summarizer for people may have time conflicts to quickly capture the main point of the meeting. Or, it can be used as a tool to summarize any lengthy video to help user work more efficient and understand better.
What it does
It allows user to input an Youtube Video link, and returns a summary of that video.
How we built it
We built it using AssemblyAI, Streamlit, and code with Python.
Challenges we ran into
A challenge we have faced is obtain and worked with video from various platforms, like Zoom, Teams. So, with only 36 hours, we chose to work with Youtube Video first.
What we learned
We are happy that we learnt how to used API like AssemblyAI, and practise our coding skills in this project.
What's next for Smarizer
We hope we could improve our user interface, and refined functions like allowing user to upload meeting recording.
