Small Talk

Small Talk is a conversation starter app. It comes with random facts and images to use in your conversation, based on the categories you choose.

Objective

To build a MVP that will be useful for normal conversations.

Technologies used

1. Ruby On Rails
2. JavaScript including the following libraries:
   • Owl.js
   • jQuery (including Ajax)
3. PostgreSQL
4. HTML5
5. Sass / CSS3
   • Materialize CSS framework
   • Animate.css
6. Heroku hosting

Key Features

• Users are able to choose any categories and instantly get conversation starters based on the chosen category
• Users can log in to save conversation starters which will be added to their favourites list (favourites can also be deleted)
