Inspiration
We wanted to explore machine learning and thought that this would be a fun and challenging place to start.
What it does
Given an image of a person or face, it will utilize it's data from training and try to recognize whether the face within the image is smiling or not.
How we built it
Lots of tutorial and ChatGPT as well as trials and errors.
Challenges we ran into
IDE not working, python library conflict, hard time understanding concepts, finding training data, learning React
Accomplishments that we're proud of
getting it to work and the front end
What we learned
how to train our own machine learning model, and how to use server side flask.
What's next for SM_AI_LE
It part of our huge scheme to replace everything with AI >:)
