SlopeSense is a feature concept for Google Maps that helps drivers stay aware of upcoming slopes, especially in hilly, curvy, or unfamiliar terrain.

The Problem Many accidents on sloped roads happen simply because drivers don’t expect them. Current navigation tools don’t show slope info, leaving drivers unprepared.

The Solution SlopeSense shows real-time slope indicators directly on the route path, so users can anticipate steep climbs or drops without taking their eyes off the map.
