I have wanted to build slidegenius for my brother who is in college, and Bolt's hackathon was the perfect place. And then I saw the one-shot competition which meant creating Slide Genius in one prompt. So that is what inspired me to do this.
SlideGenius is an AI-powered presentation generator that transforms simple text prompts into professional, visually stunning slide decks. Users simply describe their presentation topic in a text box, select the number of slides they want (8-12 slides), and click "Generate Slides."
The system then:
- Uses AI to create structured, insightful content for each slide
- Automatically generates a logical flow with title, table of contents, content sections, and conclusion
- Integrates relevant, high-quality images from Pexels based on AI-determined keywords
- Applies a clean, professional design template with optimal typography and spacing
- Allows users to preview their presentation instantly and export it as PowerPoint, Web, or JSON
- All presentations are saved locally for easy access and can be regenerated or modified as needed.
